Multidisciplinary support for Muslim women with chronic musculoskeletal pain
If you are a Muslim woman living with chronic musculoskeletal pain, you may miss moving with confidence or joining in when your children play. You are not alone. My multidisciplinary, faith-respecting approach brings together functional nutrition, ACT, mindfulness, restorative movement, and compassionate support for chronic musculoskeletal pain. Together, we can explore small, realistic shifts to make more room for movement and the moments that matter, at a pace that respects your body. There is no promise to erase pain; the goal is to support you to live more fully alongside it.

Professional learning. Personal experience. A gentler way forward.
I created The Chronic Shift for Muslim women living with chronic musculoskeletal pain who want a specialist, multidisciplinary approach that sees the whole person: body, mind, emotions, daily life, and faith.
My own health journey led me to pursue multidisciplinary training. I was actively involved with my doctors, but my situation still felt stuck and I wasn’t seeing the progress I hoped for. I wanted to understand my health from a wider perspective and explore what might help me move forward—not to replace my doctors, but to complement the care I was already receiving.
That experience continues to shape how I support other women. I know how frustrating it can feel when symptoms persist and advice does not reflect your real life. I aim to offer compassionate, practical, culturally respectful support, while being honest about what coaching can and cannot do.
Say hello to AizaThese women were not looking for another promise that pain would disappear. They were looking for understanding, practical support, and a way to feel more present in their own lives.

Oh Aïza I'm so sorry for my lack of reply!!! It's so sweet of you to check in!
Literally that weekend you messaged was the turning point. I finally and quite suddenly felt normal again! No aching, tiredness, general illness. It's such a great feeling!

…but starting to feel normal again after that!

Thanks so so much, Aïza!
I just got all those tests done by a functional medicine clinic here and have very low Vit D! (Along with a few other deficiencies and unusual results) So strange as when I'd tested before it was normal. But that helps to explain, and thank you for the recommendation of the amounts to supplement. I'll try to find antimicrobial herbs you've suggested.
Reply shown: So good to know!!! So you can address it.
